SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND RELEASE OF BONDS FOR PARCEL MAP
NO. 86-201
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council accept all public improvements constructed within the limits
of Parcel Map 86-201 and authorize the release of the following bonds:
°Faithful Performance No. 114553-86 ............................... $7,550.00
°Labor and Materials No 114553 86
· - $3 775 O0
°Monumentation No 114553 86 ................................ ' '
' - ...................................... $1,000.00
BACKGROUND:
Parcel Map No. 86-201 subdivided the lands at the northeasterly corner of Tustin
Ranch Road (formerly Jamboree Road) and Walnut Ave. The northeasterly boundary of
this parcel is Chambers Road. As a condition of approval of this subdivision, the
developers were required to install public sidewalks along the Walnut Ave frontage
of the subject parcel. Additionally, the development installed a driveway access
to Walnut Ave from the parcel.
DISCUSSION:
All improvements within the public rights-of-way have been completed to the
satisfaction of the Public Works Department/Engineering Division and three bonds
pertaining to the development are now ready for release as follows:

°Labor and Materials No '114553 ~6 ............................... $7,550.00
°Monumentation No 1145~3 86 - · ............................... $3,775.00 ' - ...................................... $1,000.00
The subdivision Warranty Bond No. 114553-86 in the amount of $755.00 must remain
in effect for a period of one-year after the City Council accepts the public
improvements for said development.
