ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 85-1
RECOMMENDATION:
For the City Council meeting of September 15, 1986.
Authorize the Mayor to execute the Engineering Services Agreement with Hunsaker
and Associates for the design and plan preparation for public improvements within
the East Tustin Assessment District No. 85-1.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council recently adopted Resolution No. 86-93 on July 21,
confirmed Assessment District No. 85-1 in the East Tustin area.

This Assessment District includes numerous public improvements which require
engineering design, plan and specification preparation and estimates of cost for
each project.
DISCUSSION:
In order to keep the project design and construction on schedule, it will be
necessary to utilize the services of a consultant firm to perform said work. The
Irvine Company has solicited proposals for said services and has recommended the
firm of Hunsaker and Associates. City staff has reviewed the three proposals and
concurs that Hunsaker and Associates should be selected to perform the engineering
design services.
An Engineering Services Agreement has been prepared by the City Attorney's office
and will be forwarded to 'the City Council under separate cover on Thursday,
September 10, 1986.
A summary of the consultant firms submitting proposals and their fees to The
Irvine Company is tabulated below for the City Council's information.
