CITIZEN CONCERN - TREE TRIMMING ON PARKER DRIVE (INFORMATION REPORT)
In response to Ms. Newman's letter of September 2, 1986, the street trees along
Parker Drive and adjoining streets have been reviewed and found to be in need of
trimming.
The trees immediately adjacent to the street lights will be trimmed during the
week of September 22, 1986. The remaining trees will be trimmed as schedul'ing
permits with the tree crew. The City is currently operating with one three-person
tree crew which is responsible for all trimming, planting, staking/tying and
removal(s) of City street and park trees. The desired schedule for trimming is
once every three to four years.
It has also been brought to our attention that Ms. Newman desires certain trees to
be removed. However, as of this date, we have not received a written request for
any tree removals.
