HomeMy WebLinkAboutRPT 3 CITIZEN CONCERN 10-06-86 NO, 3 Inter- Com TO: FROM: SUBJECT: WILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ENGINEERING DIVISION CITIZEN CONCERN - TREE TRIMMING ON PARKER DRIVE (INFORMATION REPORT) In response to Ms. Newman's letter of September 2, 1986, the street trees along Parker Drive and adjoining streets have been reviewed and found to be in need of trimming. The trees immediately adjacent to the street lights will be trimmed during the week of September 22, 1986. The remaining trees will be trimmed as schedul'ing permits with the tree crew. The City is currently operating with one three-person tree crew which is responsible for all trimming, planting, staking/tying and removal(s) of City street and park trees. The desired schedule for trimming is once every three to four years. It has also been brought to our attention that Ms. Newman desires certain trees to be removed.
