HUSTON, CI~ NANAGER CON,UNITY DEYELOI~ENT DEPARllqENT RESOLUTION OF CONFIR~TION OF PROPERI~ TAX TRANSFER FOR PROPOSED REORGANIZATION NO. 91 RECOPIqENDED ACTION: Adoption of Resolution No. 86-132 confirming a property tax transfer agreement betWeen the City of Santa Aha and the City of Tustin for Reorganization No. 91. PROJECT ANALYSIS: Reorganization No. 91 is a detachment of territory from the City of Santa Aha and the annexation of the same territory to the City of Tustin. The subject property is .4 of an acre located northerly of Edtnger Avenue between the NeWport-Costa Mesa Freeway {Rte 55) and the abandoned Newport Avenue. Reorganization 91 will be considered at the Decemb? 3, 1986 Local Agency Formation Commission. Section 99(d) of the Revenue and Taxation Code requires the cities to approve the exchange of property tax revenue prior to the consideration by LAFCO. The City of Santa Ana will consider the transfer of property tax at their November 17, 1986 meeting. In this instance, 100% of property taxes assessed will be transfered to the City of Tustin. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 99(d) of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the City of Tustin hereby approves the acceptance of the property tax from the City of Santa Ana for the allocation of property tax revenues which shall be applicable to the territory as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and "B" and known as Reorganization No. 91.
