Co,missioner #et1 asked that [tom 2 be pulled from the consent calendar for further
discussion. C~tsstoner Baker moved, Puckett seconded to approve the minutes of
August 10, 1987. Notion carried 4-0.
After a short discussion Co,missioner Puckett moved, Baker seconded to conceptually
approve preliminary changes to architectural elevations on units in the ShadoYbrook
project, subject to the conditions listed in the staff report ~tth the a;ddttton of
the following notation at the end of [tem 3 "(stucco or ~ood fencing ~ould be
permitted)'. Notion carried 4-0.

The public hearing was closed at 7:46 p.m.
Commissioner Puckett moved, Pontious seconded to approve Use Permit No 87-16 by the
adoption of Resolution No. 2425. Motion carried 4-0.

4. Shelters in R-! Zone
Presentatt on: Patrizia Materassi, Planner
Commissioner Puckett moved, Ponttous Seconded to issue a Minute Order determining
that ~the Sheepfold use is in conformance with the R-! Zoning Oestgnatton with
imposition of certain development criteria (as modified by the Planning Commission to
tnclude "The occupancy of the home shall be limited to the requirements of the Space
and Occupancy Standards,). Motion carried 4-0.
Commissioner Puckett reeved, Ponttous seconded to instruct staff to prepare the
appropriate Zoning Ordinance Amendment defining shelters for displaced women. Motion
car~'ted 4-0.
