Place of Injury: On E1 Camino Real southbound, in the intersection at Main Street, in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California. 1 2 4 5 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 24 25 26 27 28 Manner of Injury: claimant was a passenger'in a vehicle traveling southbound on E1 Camino Real which entered the.intersection at Main Street on a green signal, when the vehicle she was in was broadsided by another vehicle traveling eastbound on Main Street. Claimant's injuries and d~mages are a proximate result of, but not exclusively limited to, the City of Tustin's negligent design, construction and maintenance of said roadways, in that t_he City of Tustin negligently failed to provide adequate safety measures to protect the general motoring public from the likelihood of injury by authorizing a speed limit in excess of that which is safe, given the volume of traffic, by failing to provide reasonable length, of signal phasing on the traffic signals, and by failing to increase police patrol when the City of Tustin knew, or should have known, of the frequent occurrence of accidents at this location in which motorists' speed, the high volume of traffic, and signal phasing, were a contributing factor in causing injury to the general motoring public. 3. Nature and extent of injuries: Claimant sustained multiple contusions of the chest, left breast, knees and abdomen; lateral thoracic sprains; and post traumatic stress disorder. 4.
