RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution 85-117.
DISCUSSION:
This is simply a housekeeping item. We are currently changing our internal
procedures for this account and want the signature authorization to be
consistent with all other City accounts.

RESOLUTION NO. 85-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A SELF-INSURED EMPLOYEES HEALTH
BENEFIT PAYMENT ACCOUNT AND PROVIDING PROCEDURES THEREFOR.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, hereby
resolves as follows:
1. The Finance Director of the City of Tustin is hereby
authorized to desposit into and maintain in a special bank account sums not to
exceed a total balance at any time greater than Twenty Thousand Dollars
($20,000.00) for the sole use and purpose of payment of self-insured employee
health benefits.
2. The Finance Director is authorized and directed to designate
in writing not more than five {5) persons who may be signators on said account
and shall provide instructions to the bank in which said account is maintained
that the signatures of at least two (2) of said designated signators shall be
required on all checks drawn on said account. A copy of the designation of
signators by the Finance Director shall be maintained on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
3. The Finance Director is directed to monitor and audit all
payments made on the self-insured employee health benefit payments account in
keeping with good municipal accounting and auditing practice.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, held on the day of , 1985.
