BACKGROUND: Evelynn Hershey has been an active member of the Tustin community for the past four years and an involved resident of Orange County since 1937. Currently she is serving as the Assistant Director of American Association of Retired Persons, supervising eight chapters in Orange County. Ms. Hershey has also been involved volunteering for many of Tusttn's senior programs. Staff strongly supports Evelynn's nomination; she is knowledgeable regarding the issues and would do a fine job representing the seniors of Tustin. Her background and involvement are strong support for her nomination. Susan M.
