PACIFIC BELL DEVELOPMENT TRAFFIC SYSTEM MANAGEMENT PLAN
(INFORMATION REPORT)
At a recent meeting the City Council inquired as to the status of the Pacific Bell
development Traffic System Management (TSM) Plan and suggested a letter be
prepared by staff for the Mayor's signature and sent to Pacific Bell as an inquiry
on status of said Plan.
The Pacific Bell development was approved under Use Permit No. 84-10 by Planning
Commission Resolution No. 2177 which contained the following condition of
approval:
° The developer shall prepare a Traffic System Management Plan which
could include staggered work hours, use of carpools, and vanpools.
Contact was made with the architects/engineers for Pacific Bell and it was
indicated that the Plan is currently under preparation with completion scheduled
for mid-January, 1986. The Plan will then be presented to both the Planning
Commission and City Council for review and approval.
At this point, staff does not feel that a letter is still necessary and will not
prepare one unless the City Council indicates a different desire.
