ZONE CHANGES RE- Clerk read the following recommendations COMMENDED BY THE from the Planning Commission - That the area PLANNING COM. west of the frontage road be zoned R-3 and that the parcelslying east of the frontage road be zoned. R-2. Those,present with comments or questions were: CLARIFICATION OF Charles Greenwood, Mr. Pilant, both asking ZONING REQUESTS clarification of zoning regarding proposed zoning ordinance. There being no further comments, the hearing was declared closed. Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by APPROVAL OF RE- Councilman Mack, that the recommendation of COMMENDATION OF the Planning Commission be approved. Motion PLAN. COM. carded. PROTEST HEARING Protest hearing on "Ben Brown Annexation" ON BROWN ANNE. opened at 7:55 P.M. NO PROTESTS Clerk reported no written protest had been submitted. HEARING CONTINUED There being no one present with protests, the TO 10-27-61-Noon hearing was continued to 12 Noon, Friday, October 27th. ZONE HEARING FOR Zone and Setback hearing for "Vanderlip & VANDERLIP & ROWAN Rowan Annexation" opened at 8:00 P.M. Clerk read the following recommendations from the Planning Commission: "In all probability, the new zoning ordinance RECOMMENDATIONS will have been adopted prior to the completion FROM THE of the annexation proceedings. This ordinance PLANNING COMMISSION provides that all territory annexed have an initial zoning that respectively corresponds with the County Zoning. However, to comply with present ordinance, it is recommended that all E-4 and R-1 areas be zoned R-1 and that all R-3 be zoned R-3 and that all 100-Cl-10000 be classified C-1.~ NO WRITTEN PROTESTS Clerk reported no written protests had been received. 2.88 Mr. Pilant asked for further clarification.
