SUBJECT: ELECTION WORKERS AND POLLING PRECINCTS
RECOMMENDATION:
Adoption of Resolution No. 86-33.
BACKGROUND:
Attached is ResolUtion No. 86-33 which establishes Voting Precincts and Polling.
Places, and appoints Precinct Board Members for the General Municipal Election on
April 8, 1986.
This Resolution must be adopted no later than March 10, 1986.

RESOLUTION NO. 86-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING
PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING
COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAl. MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID
CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 1986, HERETOFORE CALLED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 85-123 OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday,
kpril 8, 1986, has been heretofore called by Resolution No. 85-123 adopted on
December 16, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular general
municipal election, there shall be and are hereby established fifteen {15)
voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election pre-
cincts in the City of Tustin established for the holding of state and county
elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of
this resolution; that the polling places for the respective precints shall be
the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named,
being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City are hereby
appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precints and they
shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by
ilaw.

SECTION 2. That the compensation of the persons hereinbefore named
as precinct board members is hereby fixed at the sum of fifty dollars {$50.00)
for each Inspector and forty dollars {$40.00} for each Judge and Clerk for
said election. The rental for each of such polling place shall be the sum of
thirty-five dollars {$35.00) for said election.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in
the minutes of the meeting at whch the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, on March 3, 1986.
