INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING SIGNS ON SYCAMORE AVENUE BETWEEN
RED HILL AVENUE AND NEWPORT AVENUE FOR STREET SWEEPING PURPOSES
RECOMMENDATION:
Request the Tustin City Council, at their regular meeting of March 3, 1986, to
authorize the installation of no parking signs for street sweeping purposes on
Sycamore Avenue between Red Hill Avenue and Newport Avenue. These signs would
restrict on-street parking from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Mondays.
BACKGROUND:
A resident of Sycamore Avenue requested that no parking signs be installed for
street sweeping purposes at the January 6th City Council meeting. Since the
request was made prior to the Council's adoption of the new signing policy,
questionnaires weremailed to all residents in the effected area to ascertain
whether they did or did not desire the installation of the no parking signs for
street sweep!ng. '
Following are the results of the questionnaire:
