SUBJECT: AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR NEWPORT AVENUE FAU PROJECT M-M016(O02)
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council, at their meeting of April 7, 1986, award
the contract for subject project to Steiny and Company Inc. of Fullerton,
California, in the amount of $188,714.00.
BACKGROUND:
Subject project encompasses construction of a new traffic signal at the
intersection of Newport and Sycamore and modifications to the signals at Newport
Avenue and Walnut, McFadden and Mitchell. In addition, these signals will be
interconnected by utilization of a time base coordination system.
Sealed bids'for this work were opened at 10:00 a.m. on March 21, 1986 and we6e
received as follows:
