PRESENT: Kidd, Humeston, Byrd, Sheridan and Mack ABSENT:: None CITY ATTORNEY: James O. Rourke, present CITY ENGINEER: J. L. McBride, present Moved by Councilman Ma~k, seconded by Councilman Humeston, that minutes of May 22nd mee~ting be approved as mailed and received. Motion carried. ANNEX PROCEED- Recommendation from the Planning Commission INGS that proposed annexation proceed. RESOLUTION Resolution No. 558, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY NO. 558 COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS F0R THE ANNEXA- TION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS 'VANDERLIP & ROWAN ANNEXATION' TO THE CITY OF TUSTINI,"'was read by title only. RESOLUTION NO. Moved by CoUncilman Sheridan, seconded by 558 PASSED Councilman Mack, that said Resolution No. ~58 be passed and adopted. Motion carried. A request from City Engineer, T L. McBride DRAINING as to what decision could be made concerning PROBLEMS certain drainage problems now existing in the city, was advised by Mr. Rourke, City Attorney, that any attempt to move the water at the present time would result in the city assuming certain liabilities. RECOMMENDATION A recommendation was made by Mr. McBride that FOR PRESERVATION steps be taken to preserve the historic E1 EL CAMIN0 REAL Camino Real bell, which isnow at the old site BELL of the bank. Mr. McBride suggested that measures be taken to find a suitable location for the bell within the city, before it is removed or destroyed. Moved by Councilmar.
