AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR BELL AVENUE STORM DRAIN EXTENSION
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council, at their meeting of May 5, 1986, award
the contract for subject project to Gillespie Construction, Inc. of Costa Mesa,
California in the amount of $96,673.50.
BACKGROUND:
This project enco~asses extension of an existing storm drain on Bell Avenue from
1,450' + westerly of Red Hill to 2,300' + westerly of Red Hill and is designed to
alleviate a street flooding problem adjacent to the Steelcase building parking
lots.
Sealed bids for this work were opened at 10:00 a.m. on April 29, 1986 and were
received as follows:
