MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL
May 1st, 1961
Meeting called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mayor Kidd.
Present: Kidd, Humeston, Byrd, Sheridan, Mack
Absent: None
City Engineer: Present
City Attorney: Present
Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Byrd that
minutes of April 17th meeting be approved as corrected. Motion
carried.
Protest hearing on Seventeenth Street 'Yorba to Prospect' Annexa-
tion opened at 7:38 P.M.
Letter of Protest from Harriet 0. Enderle and Ethel F. Doty
· read by clerk.

ORANGE Mayor Kidd and Mr. Humeston to attend meeting of
COUNTY the Santa Ana Chamber Highway Commission regarding
AIRPORT Orange County Airport and report at next meeting.
ORANGE Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Sheridan
COUNTY that permission be granted the Orange County Fair to
FAIR hang overhead~flag lines at "D" and 6th Streets and "D"
FLAGS and Main Streets, under the supervision of the Chief of
Police., Motion.carried.

EMPLOYEE SheridanthatMr..Lanebe employed full-time for Parks

serve at the pleasure of the Council. Motion carried.

ORDINANCE Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman
N0. 151 Byrd that Ordinance No. 151 amending Ordinances #18
AMEND. and #24 regulating burning be passed and adopted.

CITY ENGR. Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Sheridan
AUTHOR. that City Engineer be authorized to employ such outside
EMPLOY HELP help as he deems necessary to orepare boundary maps for
TO PREPARE both North Tustin Area Annexations. Motion carried.

TRASH Sheridan that Ci~ty Attorney be requested to bring a
PICKUP written opinion as to legality of picking up trash

another. Motion carried.

carried unanimously.
ADOPTION Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman
OF RESOL. Mack that Resolution No. 555 "Ratifying and Confirming
#555 Appointments to the Planning Commission of the City of
Tustin" be passed and adopted. Motion carried. Roll
call - all councilmen voting Aye.

Humeston that bills be paid. Motion carried.
