PRESENT: Humeston, Mack, Byrd, Sheridan. ABSENT: Kidd CITY ATTOX!!EY: J. G. Rourke, present. CITY ENGINEEr: ~Z.L~.?icBride, present; Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Byrd that minutes of August 1st meeting be approved as corrected. Motion carried. Motion made by Councilman Mack, seconded by Council- SCREENS man S!~eri.fisn that screens be purchased ~or the FOR CITY Police Deportment and Clerks office at a cost HALL not to exceed ~i75.00. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman NEW FIRE Mack that the Fire Chief be authorized to pdrchase HOSE 6~0 feet of 1%-" hose, one "Y' connection and two 2 nozzles. Motion carried. .Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Council- man Byrd that Councilman Mack be authorized to T.Y.C. install temporary barracade at the TYC and secure FENCE quotes and prices on chain link fencing. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Sheridan that Mr. McBride be authorized t~ handle HOUSE- any housemoving and approve route and necessary MOVING arrangements for~ safety and trimming of trees PERMITS TO before Clerk issues permit. Moved by ConnciJ_man Sheridan,. seconded by Councilman Mack that application ffo~. Taxi stand. for Black TAXI and Green Cabs of, Santa Aria be referred to Chief STAND of Police and City Attorney for proper verification and repor,t at next meeting and that application for ,the Yellow~ Cab, o,f Santa Ana be' taken' under su~bmission; and referred to, the City Attorney for further~ s~tudy. Motion SETUP carried. Mr. Humeaton appoi-,~ted the Mayqr, .City Engineer, Councilman MEM- ?lack and Mr. E. Pankey and Mr. G. Bixler, if available, to BERS serve on above committee and the City Attorney to act as advisor. Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconCed by Councilman Mack RES.# that Resolution No.' ~2~, fixing and determining the amount 525, of revenue required from Property Taxes, be adopted. ON Hotion carried, all Councilmen voting Aye. REVENUE Moved by' Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Sheri~an REVISE that City At'torney and City Engineer be requested to repor~ ORD. at next regular meeting on their recommendations for 113 revising Ordinance No. 113~ covering setbacks, curbs and .sidewalls. Motion carried.
