ACT Authorize the Recreation Superintendent to sign an agreement, in the amount of $7,900 with the San Diego Fireworks Company to provide a pyro-musical show for the Annual Fourth of July Celebration as recommended by the Recreation Superintendent. MYFORD ROAD EXTENSION BEll~EEN MOULTON PARKWAY AND BARRANCA ROAD Approve the Agreement for Consultant Services for the prepa- ration of the Environmental Assessment Document for Myford Road between Moulton Parkway and Barranca Road subject to final approval by CalTrans/FAU as recommended by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer. NEW BUSINESS AUll4ORIZATION TO PURCHASE THREE TRUCKS Authorize the purchase of two (2) each one ton flat bed trucks and one (1) each one ton pick-up with utility bed from Earnest Ford of Orange for a grand total of $39,267.78 as recommended by the Engineering Department. AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE SEMI-TRAILER Authorize the purchase of an East Pusher semi-trailer from Nixon Egli of Santa Fe Springs for $33,555.93 as recommended by the Engineering Department. o AWARD OF BID - STREET IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF NEWPORT AVENUE ANO IRVINE BOULEVARD Award the contract for the street improvements at the north- westerly corner of Newport Avenue and Irvine Blvd. to the low bidder, Arm and Hammer Concrete of Tustin, in the amount of $8,004.5.9 as recommended by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer. TORT REFORM: SB 433, SB 934, and AB 230 Recommended to formally support each of the subject bills as recommended by the Director of Community and Administrative Services. XI.
