PRESENT : Humeston, Sheridan, Mack CITY ATTORNEY : James Rourke, present. CITY ENGINEER : J. L. McBride, present. MINUTES APP. Moved by Co'uncilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman AS READ Mack, that minutes of July 7th meeting be approved ss read. POLICE Motion made by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman PAY Sheridan that salary raises for Police Department be RAISES approved as follows: Chief . . from $460.00 to $485.00 Sergeant . from 410.00 to 430.00 Patrolman from 390.00 to 410.00 Motion carried. ACCEPTANCE Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman Mack, OF T Y C that report of Tustin Youth Center Committee, as mresented REPORT. by Councilman Mack be accepted and that the matte~ of REFERRED recommendations be referred to Councilman Mack and Fire TO MACK & Chief ~for further study land possible cost estimates to MORGAN make necessary corrections. Motion carried. SMITHWICK M'oved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman Mack @ $2.00 that Councilman Mack be authorized to hire David Smithwick PER HR. as custodian of Tustin Youth Center on a temporary basis at a rate of $2.00 per hour for trial period of 3 months, the details of his duties to be worked ~ut by Councilman Mack and TYC Committee. Motion carried. T Y C Moved by Councilman Mack, seconded by Councilman Sheridan FEES that recommendation from Youth Center Committee that fees RESTRICTED from use of TYC be restricted to Recreation and Youth activities, be referred to City Attorney for further study and report. Motion carried. TAXI Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded byCouncilman Mack RESOLUTION that City Attorney~ be authorized to drawl up Resolution establishing Taxi Stand, including designated par~ing area for same. Motion I~arried. PURCHASE Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman Mack 1960 that Purchasing Agent be instructed to proceed with purchase PONTIAC of 1960 Pontiac for Police Department as per bid from Roy Carver Pontiac. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Sheridan, seconded by Councilman Mack, that meeting be adjourned. Motion carried. City Clerk
