HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC 5 SURPLUS ASSETS 05-20-85COl, .~T CALENDAR NO. 5 5~20-85 /-~pJ~ILLIAM HUSTON, CITY MANAGER TO~HRU: J(~BOB LEDENDECKER, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER FROM: ~ MONDA BUCKLEY, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT DECLARATION OF SURPLUS FIXED ASSETS RECOMMENDATION: Request the Tustin City Council, at their regular meeting of May 20, 1985, to declare the items on the attached list as surplus fixed assets and authorize the sale of same at the annual Police Auction on June 22, 1985. BACKGROUND: Each year, city departments have a limited number of fixed asset items which have reached obsolescence or are considered unrepairable and of no functional value to the city. The attached list identifies these items. In order to dispose of these items, Council must declare them as surplus and authorize the sale of public property. The annual Police Auction is the most practical means of sale.
