DECLARATION OF SURPLUS FIXED ASSETS
RECOMMENDATION:
Request the Tustin City Council, at their regular meeting of May 20, 1985, to
declare the items on the attached list as surplus fixed assets and authorize the
sale of same at the annual Police Auction on June 22, 1985.
BACKGROUND:
Each year, city departments have a limited number of fixed asset items which have
reached obsolescence or are considered unrepairable and of no functional value to
the city. The attached list identifies these items. In order to dispose of these
items, Council must declare them as surplus and authorize the sale of public
property. The annual Police Auction is the most practical means of sale.
