HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1960 02 18 MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 18th, 1960 MEMBERS PRESENT: Kidd, Humeston & Bacon. ABSENT : Tadlock & Byrd. CITY ATTORNEY : Dennis D. Hayden, present. CITY ENGINEER : J. L. McBride, present. Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 12:15 P. M. SOUTH Councilman Bacon moved, seconded by Councilman TUSTIN Humeston that the petition and Affidavits attached, ANNEX. for the proposed "South Tustin Avenue Annexation", be received and filed. Motion carried. The adoption of RESOLUTION N0. 499, "A RESOLUTION INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF TUSTIN DECLARING TO CALL ITS INTENTION TO CALL A SPECIAL ANNEXATION ELECTION, SPECIAL AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR PROTESTS BY ELECTION PROPERTY OWNERS", was moved by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Humeston, and duly carried. All Councilmen present voting Aye. CANCELLA- It was moved by Councilman Bacon, seconded by TION OF Councilman Humeston that a request by the Tustin TAXES Elementary School District that consent to Cancellation FOR of Taxes on certain property purchased by said SCHOOL District, the deed which is recorded in Book 4868, DISTRICT Page 589, Official Records of Orange County, be granted. Motion carried. On motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by Council- ADJOURN- man Humeston the meeting was adjourned until MENT Thursday, February 25th, 1960 at 7:30 P. M. A. O.
