ABSENT : Tadlock CITY ATTORNEY HAYDEN and CITY ENGINEER MCBRIDE, present. Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 12: M. PETITION FOR A Petition for Annexation, designated the "South ANNEXATION Tustin Avenue Annexation" was presented to the ON"SOUTH Council and on motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded TUSTIN by Councilman Byrd and duly carried, was referred AVENUE." to the Tustin Planning Commission for recommendation. The meeting was recessed for ten (10) minutes by Mayor Kidd. After re-convening, Councilman Bacon moved, seconded by Councilman Humeston that the recommendation of the Tustin Planning Commission regarding the "South Tustin Avenue Annexation" be received and filed. Motion carried. RESOLUTION Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman NO. 491 Humeston that RESOLUTION NO. 491, "A RESOLUTION OF COMMENCEMENT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN CONSENTING OF PROCEEDINGS TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS THE 'SOUTH TUSTIN AVENUE ANNEXATION', be adopted. Motion carried, all Councilmen present voting Aye. On motion of Councilman Byrd., seconded by Councilman Bacon and duly carried the meeting was adjourned. A O. Park, City Clerk Jerome C. NOTICE OF INTENT Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman Humeston TO CIRCULATE that Notice of Intention to Circulate a Petition PETITION ON THE relating. to Annexation of Certain Territory to the SOUTH TUSTIN City of Tustin; under the Annexation Act of 1913, ANNEXATION. be received and filed. Motion carried. On motion of Councilman Humeston, seconded by CounciIman Byrd that RESOLUTION NO. 492, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE INTETENTION TO CIRCULULATE A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS 'SOUTH TUSTIN AVENUE ANNEXATION' AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION", be adopted. Motion carried, all Councilmen present voting Aye.
