THE TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL, DECEMBER 21ST.
1959
MEMBERS PRESENT: Kidd, Tadlock, Humeaton, Bacon &
Byrd.
ABSENT : None.
CITY ATTORNEY : Dennis D. H.ayden, present.
CITY ENGINEER : J L. McBride,
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved as mailed,
on motion of Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman
Humeston and unamiously carried.
PERMISSION Councilman Tadlock moved, seconded by Councilman
GRANTED TO Humeston that the Camp 77ire Girls, Orange County Council,
CAMP FIRE be granted permission' to conduct their annual Peanut
GIRLS FOR Sale from January 22nd through February 8th, 1960
ANNUAL SALE Motion carried.
Santiago Girl Scout Council requested permission
hold their Cookie Sale from February 12th to February
22nd, 1960.
GIRL SCOUT Councilman Tadlock moved, seconded by Councilman
COUNCIL Humeston that the request of the Santiago Girl Scouts
GRANTED be granted. Motion carried.
PERMISSION
On motion of Councilman Byrd, seconded by Courcilman
Bacon and duly carried, the balance of the correspondence
was ordered received and filed.
REIMBURSE- Councilmen Tadlock and Humeston reported that it was
MENT T0 BE their considered opinion that one half, or not to
GIVEN TO exceed $625.00 of the bill submitted for re-imburse-
TUSTIN ment dated December 7, 1959 by the Tustin Chamber of
CHAMBER OF Commerce, for advertising and Promotion of the City
COMMERCE of Tustin during "Tiller Days" be allowed.

DAYS. It was moved. by Councilman Humeston, seconded by
Councilman Byrd that not to exceed $625.00 be paid
the Tustin Chamber of Commerce to reimburse for adver-
tising and promotion of the City of Tustin during
the last "Tiller Days" celebration and parade. Motion
carried.
The Holthe Disnosal Co. submitted a letter requesting
RECONSIDER- that consideration be given to a change in their
ATION existing contract limiting the amount of trash to be

OF PICK-UP
Councilman Tadlock moved, seconded by Councilman Byrd
that the above request and the contract be referred to
City Attorney Hayden for a report at the next meeting.
Motion carried.
The bills were ordered paid on motion of Councilman
Tadlock, seconded by Councilman Humeston and duly carried.

Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman
Humeston that the meeting be adjourned until
12: M. Thursday, December 31st, 1959 in the
Council Chambers of the Tustin City Hall,
Tustin, California.
