ABSENT : None CITY ATTORNEY : Dennis D. Hayden, absent. CITY ENGINEER : J. L. McBride, present. Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at ?:35 P. M. On motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Tadlock and duly carried, minutes of the last meeting were spproved as mailed. OFF-RAMP City Engineer McBride submitted a map showing proposed ON FREE- recommendations by the Orange County Surveyor's office WAY. to the California Division of Highways for an "off ramp" North bound, from Riverside Freeway to Newport Avenue at Sycamore Street. He also stated that the proposal would be subject to a Public Hearing. ORD. 130 It was moved by Councilman Humeston, seconded by Council- COVERING man Byrd, that ORDINANCE NO. 130, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE PRESCOTT- CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE BALMER, ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERITORY DESIGNATED ANNEX. "PRESCOTT-BALMER ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN' ", have its second reading by title only. Motion carrled, all Councilmen voting Aye. ADOPTION Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman Humeston ORD. NO. that ORDINANCE NO. 130 be adopted. Motion carried, all 130 CounciImen voting Aye. ORD. 131, After reading proposed ORDINANCE NO. 131, regulating the REGULATING operation of Taxicab within the City of Tustin, action TAXICABS was deferred for further clarification on Bonding and insurance PERMISSION After favorable recommendation from Police Chief johanson, FOR ADV. Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman Bacon that BENCHES. the United Bench Advertisers be informed that permission is granted to install benches as per their request dated October 16, 1959.
