SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY/CONSENT CALENDAR ITEM
RECOMMENDATION:
(1) The City Council designate the Xerox copy machine model 4500
and assorted supplies as surplus items.
(2) The City Council authorize the Finance Director to
solicit bids for the sale of the copy machine and supplies.
BACKGROUND:
This Xerox copy machine had been located in the Police
Department. It was replaced by a new copy machine in fiscal
year 1984-85. It was replaced due to its poor condition and
high maintenance costs. Because of these reasons and the
fact it is worn out due to heavy usage, the Xerox copy
machine cannot be utilized by this or any other City depart-
ment. The supplies that are i~cluded cannot be used with the
City's current copy machinesl
