HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1959 09 21 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL, SEPTEMBER 21st, 1959 COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Kidd, Tadlock, Humeston, Bacon & Byrd. ABSENT : None. CITY ENGINEER : J. L. McBride, present. City Attorney, Dennis D. Hayden was present and acted in place of City Clerk Park, absent on vacation. Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 7:30 P. M. Councilman Byrd moved, seconded by Councilman Tadlock that minutes of the previous meeting be approved as mailed. Motion carried. After the correspondence was read, it was moved by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Tadlock that it be received snd filed. Motion carried. ONE HOUR Councilman Tadlock moved, seconded by Councilman Bacon PARKING that RESOLUTION NO, 486; establishing ONE HOUR PARKING ON WEST on West Main Street between C and D Streets, except MAIN ST. that portion now marked for 20 Minute Parking, be adopted. Motion carried, all Councilmen voting Aye. THROW- George Broomell's letter regarding throw-away advertising AWAYS. mediums was referred to City Attorney Hayden. FLOUR- Motion of Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Councilman ESCENT Humeston that Flourescent lights be installed in City LIGHTS Engineer McBride's office, not to exceed $250.00 in cost. Motion carried. Councilman Bacon moved, seconded by Councilman Humeston and carried that the meeting be adjourned until Monday, September 28, 1959 at 1:30 P. M. Jerome C. Kidd Dennis D.
