QUITCLAIM DEED - FILE #1960
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin C{ty Council, at their meeting of November 19, 1984, authorize the
Mayor to execute the attached Quitclaim Deed and direct staff to record said
document subject to the receipt of the $90.00 transfer fee.
BACKGROUND:
In November, 1975, the city acquired the easement rights and pipelines to all of
the S.A.V.I. irrigation facilities within the city. Some of these easements have
been utilized for storm drain and street widening purposes, but the majority of
these easements will not be needed for any public use.
DISCUSSION:
A property owner has requested the Quitclaim of a S.A.V.I. easement which runs
across their property at 15582 Williams Street.
The city has no future use for this easement on Williams Street. City Council has
previously established a transfer fee in the amount of $90.00 for each Quitclaim
Deed.

This is a formal request to the City of Tustin to abandon all
of the old Santa Aha Valley. Irrigation easements on the above
property, including the concrete reservoi~ located on the north-
west cozner of the property.
It is our understanding that all of these easements have been
given over to the City and that this request must go through the
proper civic processes to effect this abandonment. The property
has been sold and is in escrow which is schedtuled to close on
December 15, 198~, therefore we would appreciate t.his being handled
as expeditiously as possible.
A copy of the Schedule A from the Prlfmtuary Title Report is
attached hereto showing the correct ownership vesting and the
full'legal description of the subject property. Also attached
is a copy of th$ easement granted to SAVI in 1918, and a copy
of the Assessor's Map of subject property.

the agent for the owner of the property, Mrs. Hazel Lambert. If
Mrs. Lambert'~ personal signature is requlred for this request
it ~rlll be forthcoming 1~mediately. Conversely, if assuarance can
· be given to the purchaser of the property that these items will
be abaondoned they might accept an abandonment at the time of
plan approval.

Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot G; thence North along the
Westerly line of said Lot, 497.70 feet; thence East parallel with the
