DESIGN REVIEW, ZONE CHANGE 84-6
DISCUSSION:
On November 5, 1984, the City Council considered the Zone Change and development
plan at a public hearing. {Please see Public Hearing No. 3 for staff report and
conditions of approval.)
One of the issues of the development plan was the elevations that face the
Newport Avenue and "B" Street frontages.
RECOI~IENDATION:
If the Redevelopment Agency finds that this proposal will add tJ the enhancement
of the redevelopment area, and if the City Council approved the zone change on
November 5, 1984, staff recommends that the Agency approve the design of the
project by the adoption of Resolution No. 84-13.

RESOLUTION NO. RDA 84-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA. APPROVING THE
DESIGN OF A 20 UNIT SENIOR CITIZEN COMPLEX TO BE
LOCATED AT 17432 AND 17442 MITCHELL AVENUE.
The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin, California
does hereby approve the use and design of the proposed 20 unit one {1)
bedroom Senior Citizen Project at 17432 and 17442 Mitchell Avenue
based On the following findings:

The design and proposed use of the project, subject to conditions
of approval, are compatible with the goals and objectives of the
South Central Redevelopment Project Plan.
The architectural and physical design of this project are
compatible and consistent with other architectural styles of
buildings within the immediate area.
That based on the analysis contained in Zone Change 84-6 report
to the City Council dated November 5, 1984, the project should be
a positive addition to the community.
That final development plans shall be reviewed and approved by
the Director of Community Development prior to permit issuance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Community Redevelopment
Agency held on the __day of , 1984.
