PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES/SITE EVALUATION FOR
TUSTIN SENIOR CENTER
R~COMMENDATION
To accept and approve Recreation Systems' proposal to complete subject site
evaluation at standard hourl~ rates, not to exceed $1,000.
BACKGROUND
Per Council direction, staff has negotiated with Recreation Systems to continue
the process toward the successful development of a Tustin Senior Center. In
order to do that, professional assistance is needed regarding site evaluations.
Since the ultimate site is unknown at this time, staff and the consultant felt
the most appropriate way to handle the next step is to do an hourly rate at a
"not-to-exceed" figure. Should the School District site be the one that is
selected, the total for this phase will probably be no more than $500.; however,
in the event that- other sites must be evaluated, the "not-to-exceed figure
is listed at $1,000. Attached for Council review is the proposal from
Recreation Systems.~
