1984-85 BUDGET
Following its July 9, 1984 budget workshop, the City Council directed staff to
prepare a resolution adopting the 1984-85 budget as amended, to include the
following additional General Fund appropriations.
Andrews/Utt/Green Valley Storm Drain Project
Major Street Maintenance
Walnut/Cherrywood Traffic Signal
SCAG Membership

$ 438
These projects are included in'the appropriations set forth in the attached
resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 84-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CIl~f COUNCIL OF THE CI~ OF TUSTIN
ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF
THE CI~ FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1415h of the Tustin City Code, the City
Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed annual
budget for the 1984-85 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the City, has reviewed
this proposed budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve,
determine, and order as follows:
Section 1. A certain document on file in three (3) copies in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, being marked and designated
"City of Tustin Budget 1984-85." Said document, as prepared by
the City Manager and reviewed and adjusted by the City Council, is
hereby adopted for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984.
Section 2. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the
revenues of the City of Tustin for the purposes stated, during the
1984-85 fiscal year.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
ADOPTING THE REVENUE SHARING FUND BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING
REVENUE OF THE FUND FOR Tile FISCAL YEAR 1984-85

6 in accordance with Section 1415h of the Tustin City Code, the City
Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed Revenue
7 Sharing Fund Budget for the 1984-85 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1984; and
8 WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing funds in the amount of $395,000 are anticipated to be
received during fiscal year 1984-85.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve,
determine, and order that the following sums of money are hereby appropriated
from the revenue of the Revenue Sharing Fund along with carry-over reserves,

for the purposes stated:
1. Major Street Maintenance $170,000
2. Computer Equipment/Software 196,600
3. Newport/Sycamore Signal 28,000
4. Bus Benches 4,400
5. Con~nunity Groups 40,000
