Subject: ER 4103, Cable Television
Dear Ronald:
The Fountain Valley City Council, at its meeting on March 20,
1984, adopted the enclosed resolution op?osing the passage of
HR 4103 concerning cable television. -
As you are aware, the passage of this legislation would void
contracts that any city has negotiated that was fair to both
the city and the cable company.
In the.case of Fountain Valley, which is one of four cities
represented by the Public Cable Television Authority, the passage
of this bill would void a major portion of the contract which
would result in the loss of millions of dollars to the City of
Fountain Valley.
The C_~y_~D_~n__qc~! would ~ppreciat~ your immediate support in
opposing this legislation.
Very truly yours,
CITY OF FOUNTAIN VALLEY
