RESIDENTIAL (R-3) DISTRICT TO RETAIL COMMERCIAL (C-1) DISTRICT

PROGRAM AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
Adoption of Resolution No. 84-32 as recommended by the
Engineering Department.
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. D84-058 BROWNING AVENUE RESURFACING
Authorize the Mayor to execute the subject Agreement No.
D84-058 on behalf of the City subject to the final approval
of the City Attorney as reco,,~ended by the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer.

Approve the terms of the James C. Utt Park Lease with the
California Department of Transportation for a period of two
years beginning May 1, 1984, and authorize the Mayor and City
Clerk to sign the Agreement as recommended by the Recreation
Superintendent.

Adoption of Resolution No:-84-33 as recommended by the Engi-

Recommend removal of subject tree as requested and a replace-
ment tree be selected by the homeowner from the City approved

Direct staff to initiate proceedings for amending the Land
Use Element of the City's General Plan for property bounded
by Interstate 5, Browning Avenue, Bryan Avenue and the future
extension of Jamboree Road north of Interstate 5, and auth-
orize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the subject profes-
sional services agreement as recommended by the Community
Development Department.

Approval as recommended by the Con~.._*nity Development
Department based on the fact that the applicant is requesting
less sign area than would otherwise be allowed; that the
total number of signs is less than would otherwise be
allowed; that no more than two (2) front wall signs will be
permitted; and the proposed signing is in conformance with
the purpose and intent of the Sign Ordinance.

1. FIRE CONTRACT
Approval of subject contract .with the Orange County Fire
Department for fire suppression, prevention and paramedic
services through June 30, 1984, as recommended by the City
Manager.
SELECTION OF CONSULTANT TPJUrFIC ENGINEER
Authorize the Mayor to execute a Consultant's Agreement with
the firm of Berryman and Stephenson, Inc. of Santa Aha to
provide Traffic Engineering services to the City of Tustin
per proposal dated March 14, 1984, as recommended by the
Director of Public Works/City Engineer.
3. AWARD OF BID FOR B~BOSSED CONCREll~ ~DIAN PAVING
Award the contract for subject project to Sullivan Concrete
Textures of Costa Mesa, CA, in the amount of $71,795.46 as
recommended by the Engineering Department.
AWARO OF BID - FRO#TIER PARK PRE-SCHOOL PrAY AREA
Award the bid for the installation of Frontier Park
Pre-School Play Area to Hanson Associates, Inc. of Santa Ana
in the amount of $g,450.00 as recommended by the Director of
Public Works/City Engineer.
