SU8JECT: INSIDE ENTRANCE FOR RESTROOMS AT LAMBERT SCHOOL
RECOMMENDATION:
Allocate $1,500. in Revenue Sharing Funds for an inside entrance to restroom
facilities at Lambert School.
BACKGROUND:
At the March 19 meeting of the City Council, it was brought to staff's attention
that an inside entrance to the restroom facilities at Lambert School was needed
by the Tiny Tot program. The City Council asked that staff investigate the
feasibility of an inside entrance to the restroom at the school.
Staff contacted the Tustin Unified School District and obtained an' estimate of
$1,500. to provide an inside entrance to the restroom facility. The inside
entrance will permit the outside doors to be locked during the Tiny Tot
program hours. Staff feels that the addition of an inside entrance will
prevent future vandalism and enable more effective supervision of program
participants.
