CONTRACT FOR THE HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING
(HVAC) PROGRAM
RECOMMENDATION:
Request the Tustln City Council, at their meeting of April 2, 1984, award the
contract for the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Program to Dial
One Air-Ex.Air Conditioning Inc. of Walnut for $38,621.00.
BACKGROUND:
The HVAC Program is designed to provide total maintenance and repair of the
existing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in the Civic Center
complex and Maintenance facility, while also allowing energy savings and
administrative feedback. Council authorized the advertisement of bids for this
contract at their meeting of February 21st. Advertisement and bid opening was in
accord with the proposed schedule. The Engineering estimate for the program was
$40,000.00.
