THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
THE CITY OF TUSTIN
MICHAEL P. ARONCHICK hereby makes a claim against the
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, the COUNTY OF ORANGE and the CITY OF TUSTIN
for the sum of $608,617.70, and makes the following statements in
support of his claims:

3. The date and pla~e of the occurrence giving rise to
this claim are: November 19, 1983 at approximately 11:45 a.m. on
the soccer field at Currie Intermediate School, 1402 Sycamore
Avenue, in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, California.
4. The circumstances giving rise to this claim are as
follows: Claimant was refereeing a soccer game for the American
Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) at the Currie School Field in
Tustin. Claimant was running toward the north goal on the east
side of the field when he stepped in a large hole which caused him
to twist his ankle and fall to the ground. As a result of the
fall claimant has suffered permanent injuries and damages
including a fractured left elbow and a severely twisted right
ankle.'
The negligence of the above-named governmental
entities, and each of them, contributed to claimant"s injuries in
that said entities failed to adequately maintain, control,
inspect, supervise, regulate and repair the field and keep it free
of holes, etc., despite knowledge that the field was in a
dangerous condition.
5. Claimant's injuries, damages and losses include but
are not limited to medical and related expenses, permanent loss of
the full use of his left arm, loss of earnings and earning
capacity and loss of consortium.
6. The names of the public employees causing claimant's
injuries, damages and loss are unknown.

MICHELE N. ARONCHICK hereby makes a claim against the
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, the COUNTY OF ORANGE and the CITY OF TUSTIN
for the sum of $50,000.00, and makes the following statements in
support of her claims:
1. Claimant's postoffice address is 12562 Ranchwood
Road, Santa Ana, California 92705.
2. Notices concerning these claims should be sent to
attorneys Jacobs & Jacobs, 22942 E1 Toro Road, E1 Toro, CA 92630,
attention: R. M. "Mac" Jacobs~ telephone (714) 770-9842.
3. The date and place of the occurrence giving rise to
this claim are: November 19, 1983 at approximately 11:45 a.m. on

follows: Claimant's husand w~s refereeing a soccer game for the

Field in Tustin. As Mr. Aronchick was running toward the north
goal on the east side of the field he stepped in a large hole
which caused him to twist his ankle and fall to the ground. As a
result of the fall claimant's husband has suffered'permanent
injuries and damages including a fractured 19ft elboq and a
severely twisted right ankle, and as a result of her husband's
injuries claimant MICHELE N. ARONCHICK has suffered from loss of
consortium.
The negligence of the above-named governmental
entities, and each of them, contributed to claimant's loss in that
said entities failed to adequately maintain, control, inspect,
supervise, regulate and repair the field her husband was on, and
keep it free of holes, etc., despite knowledge that the field was
in a dangerous condition.
5. The names of the public employees causing claimant's
loss are unknown.
6. The amount claimed as of the date of presentation of
this claim is $50,000 for loss of consortium.
