RE-APPROPRIATION OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUNDING
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency, at their meeting of March 5, 1984,
authorize the re-appropriation of Town Center Redevelopment Agency funds in the
amount of $18,400 for traffic signal relocation and driveway modifications at the
entrance of the Tustin Heights Shopping Center.
BACKGROUND:
In May, 1983, the Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency (R.D.A) authorized the
expenditure of $18,400 for traffic signal relocation and driveway relocation at
the entrance to Tustin Heights Shopping Center on Irvine Blvd. at the intersection
of. Old Irvine Blvd.
This modification was a joint effort between the developer and the R.D.A. This
authorization was made after the initial budget submittal and was not included
within the 1983-84 Budget Document.
DISCUSSION:
The plans for this modification have now been completed and the project is now
ready to proceed. It is the intent that the developer would be responsible for
all on-site modification and the R.D.A. for all work within the public
right-of-way.
In order to proceed with this i~rovement, it will be necessary for the R.D.A. to
re-appropriate $18,400.00 to the 1983-84 Town Center Capital Improvement Budget.
The Finance Director has indicated that adequate funds exist to accommodate this
project.
