MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL, JANUARY 28th, 1957 COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Kidd, Tadlock, Humeston, Bacon & Byrd. ABSENT: None CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr. present. Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 7:30 P. M. Motion by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Byrd, that the minutes be approved as mailed out and corrected. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Bacon seconded by Councilman Byrd, that RESOLUTION NO. 409, "Resolution acknowledging RESOLUTION receipt of, notice of intention to circulate petition # 409. for Annexation to the City of Tustin and approving the circulation of a petition for proposed annexation to be known as "Eastside Annexation to Tustin," be adopted. Motion carried. A letter from the Director of the Census was read, stating among other things, that a special fund of approximately CENSUS FUND. $117.00 should be set aside for use of the Supervisor of the census for current expenses. On motion by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman Bacon and duly carried, the City Clerk was authorized to draw a warrant for funds as herein requested. REQUEST FROM A letter from Walter Rawlings, of the Tustin Water Co., WALTER RAW- was read, requesting three 20 minute parking zones in LINGS, RE: front of the company office on Main Street. PARKING ZONE. REQUEST Motion by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman Bacon GRANTED. that Mr. Rawling's request be granted. Motion carried. Mr. Gilbreath of the Tustin Chamber of Commerce was present and invited the Council to attend the Chamber of Commerce meeting next Monday evening at 7:30 P. M. Motion by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Humeston NISSON. that the City Attorney be authorized to obtain outside legal opinion as per his request. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Humeston, seconded by Councilman Tadlock, that the bills be paid. Motion carried.
