MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE
TUSTIN CITY COUNCIL
Monday, November 5th, 1956
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Jerome C. Kidd, W. L. Tadlock,
Vincent L. Humeston, Frank E. Bacon, Jr.
and Lee Byrd.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., present.
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order
at 8:00 P.M.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
RESOLUTION Motion by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Byrd that
NO. 402 Resolution No. 402 be adopted as read. Motion carried, all
Councilmen voting Aye.
RESIGNA- Motion by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Humeston that
TIONS OF resignations of the present Planning Commission be accepted as
PLANNING of November 8, 1956. Motion carried
COMMISSION.
Motion by Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman Byrd that
NEW APP'TS the following appointments by Mayor Kidd to the Planning
TO PLANN- Commission, effective November 8, 1956, be approved.
ING COMM.
Councilmen W. L. Tadlock & Frank E. Bacon, Jr. to serve their
unexpired term and Thermon Means, four years, John Siegel,
TERMS 4 years, Chris Lindley, 3 years, Dr. Harlan M. Stanton, 2 years, &
Mrs. Rosemary Gregory, 1 year. Motion carried, Councilman
Tadlock not voting.
Motion by Councilman Humeston, seconded by Councilman Tadlock,
that City Engineer McBride and City Attorney, C. Arthur Nisson, Jr.
ADVISORY be appointed Ex-officio members in an advisory capacity to the
Planning Commission. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Councilman Byrd,
PARK that City Clerk Park be continued as Ex-officio clerk of the
Planning Commission. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Councilman Bacon,
TAXES that the request by Division of Highways, State of California;
that Taxes on the David A. Melim property, our Assessment No.
282, purchased by the State May 22, 1956, be cancelled be
granted. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Humeston, seconded by Councilman Byrd
that bills be paid. Motion carried.
