White, Director of Community Services ' RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE ROBERTI-Z'BERG URBAN OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION PROGRAM RECOMMENDATION: To approve attached Resolution. BACKGROUND: Subject Resolution is the same format as previous years. Council action is necessary at this early date, because staff has become aware that the State may freeze the Energy Resources Fund portion of the Roberti-Z'Berg Urban Open Space and Recreation Program. Due to the urgency, staff has forwarded an application to the State prior to formal Council approval of the Resolution. Should the application reach the State in time and be approved, the grant will contribute $3,482. to a currently funded capital-improvement project at Columbus Tustin Park, thus lessening the burden on the 1981/82 budget.
