HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC MINUTES 1956 04 17 228 MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE TUSTIN, CALIF0RNIA, CITY COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY EVEN- ING, APRIL 17, 1956, IN THE CITY HALL COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Kidd, Byrd, Bacon, Park and Tadlock. COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kidd at 7:40 P. M. City Clerk opened and read two (2) Absentee Ballots, making the total number of votes cast for the Municipal Election of April 10, 1956, of 109 votes. Upon motion of Park, seconded by Byrd and carried by roll call vote, Mayor Jerome C. Kidd was continued in office as Mayor of the City of Tustin. Council RESOLUTION Resolution No. 386 entitled "Resolution of the City/ of NO. 386 Tustin, California, Declaring Results of Municipal Elec- ADOPTED tion" was presented and adopted upon motion of Tadlock, seconded by Park and duly carried. RESOLUTION Councilman Park moved to adopt Resolution No. 387 speci- NO. 387 fying that salaries of all officials named therein re- ADOPTED main as is with the exception that the salary of City Attorney Nisson shall be $175.00 per month, commencing with the month of April, 1956. Seconded by Byrd and carried by roll call vote. STREET DEPT. Councilman Tadlock moved to increase the salaries of EMPLOYEES Street Department employees, Oscar C. Phillips, Truck SALARIES Driver to $300.00 per month. Frank Downey, Helper, to INCREASED $290.00 per month, effective April 16, 1956. Seconded by Byrd the motion duly carried.
