HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC 3 ANIMAL SHELTER FEES 3-1-82CONSENT CALENDAR NO. 3 3- 1-82 AGENDA ITEM: RESOLUTION NO. 82-5 A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR ANIMAL SHELTER AND ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES BACKGROUND: Ordinance No. 864, which provided for the adoption of a fee schedule for animal shelter and animal control services by resolution, was passed and adopted on January 18, 1982 and became effective on February 18, 1982. Resolution No. 82-5 establishes a fee schedule for animal shelter and animal control services. Note 2. Note 3. Note 4. A dog license can be sold only for the period covered by a valid rabies vaccination certificate acceptable to the California Department of Health (Ca. Admin. Code 2606.4). ~ The reduced fee for a neutered animal will be allowed only upon presentation of a certifi- cate of spaying, castration, or of the dog's inability to reproduce signed by a licensed veterinarian. Any person who fai~s to purchase or renew a license within fifteen (15) days after it has become due or expired shall be deemed delinquent and may be required to pay a late fee of five dollars ($5.00) in addition to the prescribed fee. Once purchased, there will be no refund of license fees unless it is demonstrated that, at the time the license became effective, the animal was not subject to licensing. New Licenses 1.
