A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, ORDERING THE CAN-
VASS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL RLwCCION TO BE ~.Tn ON TUESDAY, April 13, 1982, TO BE

That the City Council adopt Resolution NO. 82-19 at the March 15th mccting.
The Elections Gode, Section 22932.5, provides for the City Council to adopt a resolu-
tion ordering the canvass of the election to be made by the City Clerk prior to the
first Tuesday after the election. Upon completion of the canvass, the City Clerk
shall certify the results to the City Council on April 20, 1982, and the Council shall
pass a resolution reciting the fact of the election. The City Council shall declare
elected the persons having the highest number of votes given for each office and
install the new members of the City Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD C~ TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 1982, TO BE MADE
BY THE CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election will be held and con-
ducted in the City of Tustin, California, on Tuesday, April 13, 1982, as
required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the canvass of said
election to be made by the City Clerk of said City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
10 SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elections Code
of the State of California, the canvass of the regular general municipal elec-
11 tion to be held in said City is hereby ordered to be made by the City Clerk.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of said City shall, prior to the
Tuesday following the election, complete the canvass of said election and
shall certify the results to this City Council on April 20, 1982.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the imassage and
adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
15 Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption

thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in
the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Tustin, California, on March 15, 1982.
