It is recc0mlended that the City Council, at their meeting of March 15, 1982, award
the contract for subject project to the low bidder, R.J. Noble Co. of Orange, CA
in the amount of $130,964.95.
BACKGROU~D:
Subject project encu,~asses repair of existing deteriorated pavement, heater
remixing and asphalt concrete overlay on Red Hill Avenue between ~nce Drive and
Irvine Blvd.
Bids for this work were opened at 9:00 AM on March 8, 1982 and were received as

Based on the low bid the cost split for this project is as follows:

There is presently $107,800 in gas tax funds budgeted for the City share of this
project.
