MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
HELD ON MONDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 12,
1955, IN THE CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Arthur O. Park, Frank E. Bacon, Jr.,
W. L., Tadlock and John V. Sauers.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: Jerome C. Kidd
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was absent· __.
Following adjournment of the planning Commission Meeting
Mayor Pro Tem Park called the meeting to order at 8:20
P. M.
Upon motion of Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Bacon and
duly carried. Minutes of the previous meeting of August
22, were approved as mailed out.
Correspondence from State Compensation Insurance Fund
and from the County Clerk was presented and read by Mayor
Pro Tem Park.
Resolution No. 374 entitled "Resolution of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Tustin Accepting $1,044.00 from the
County Of Orange Out of said County's Share of the Calif-
ornia Highway Users Tax Fund" was presented and read by
title only upon motion of Councilman Sauers, seconded
by Bacon and carried.
RESOLUTION Upon motion of Councilman Sauers, seconded by Bacon and
374 ADOPTED duly carried, Resolution No. 374 was adopted.
Police Chief Johansen was authorized to use his discre-
tion in ordering new School Traffic Signs upon motion
of Councilman Sauers, seconded by Tadlock and carried.
Upon motion of Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Sauers
and duly carried, it was ordered that a check for $10.00
be forwarded to the Carl Harvey School for Crippled
Children, 1325 E. Fourth St., Santa Ana, in lieu of
flowers to the funeral of Charles E. Morris, former
City Clerk of Tustin.
BILLS Bills as submitted, including replenishment of City
Clerk's Petty Cash Fund, were ordered paid upon motion
of Councilman Tadlock, seconded by Bacon and carried.
