To extend Variance 81-2 for Six Months
RECOI~NOEO ACTION
Staff recommends that Variance 81-2 be extended for six (6) months. The
new expiration date would then become November 4, 1982. The extension may
be granted by minute order.
BACKGROUND
On May 4, 1982, Agency approved a five unit condominium project proposed
for 14682 Holt Avenue. The original request by the developer was to vary
with the open space requirements for condominiums as provided in the Tustin
City Code. However, at the time of approval, the project in fact met all
open space requirements (50.17% open area). Therefore, the approval of the
Variance was in effect the same as granting approval for a Conditional Use
Permit.
DISCUSSION
As has been,the case with several recent extension requests, economic
difficulties have been cited as the reason making extensions of time
necessary. Staff can see no reason why the project extension should not be
granted as requested.
