CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, HELD ON JUNE 27, 1955,
AT 7:35 P. M. IN THE CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Jerome C. Kidd, W. L. Tadlock, Frank E.
Bacon, Jr., and Arthur O. Park.
COUNCILMAN ABSENT: John V. Sauers
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson Jr., was present until
8 o'clock P. M.
The meeting was called to. order by Mayor Kidd at 7:35 P.
M.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, reading of
the Minutes of the previous meeting as corrected, were
approved as mailed out and corrected.
RESOLUTION Resolution No. 369 relating to the painting of certain
NO. 369 curbs regulating parking within the City of Tustin was
ADOPTED presented by City Attorney Nixson and adopted upon mo-
tion of Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman Bacon
and duly carried.
RESOLUTION Resolution No. 370 entitled "A Resolution of the City
NO. 370 Council of the City of Tustin Requesting an Allocation
ADOPTED of the County Highway Users' Tax for the Improvement ,
of South "D" Street' was adopted upon motion of Coun-
cilman Tadlock, seconded by Councilman Park and carried.
Upon motion of Councilman .Bacon, seconded by Tadlock
and duly carried, City Attorney Nisson was requested to
prepare bid specifications on all City Insurance for
the fiscal year 1955-56 with the exception of Fire
Insurance.
Civil Defense Cemmander Glenn H. Stivers was present
and discussed with the Council the matter of possible
additional Defense Personnel.
$400.00 William H. Gray, representing the Tustin-Irvine Little
GRANTED TO League, was present and requested an additional grant
TUSTIN-IRVINE of 400.00 from the City for expenses during the bal-
LITTLE ance of the League's activities this season. Upon mo-
LEAGUE tion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by Park and carried,
this request was granted.
Upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded by Tadlock
and duly carried, the City Clerk was instructed to pre-
pare a letter, to be signed by Mayor Ktdd, informing
the Sacramento office of Ctvile Defense that Tustin
does not intend to complete the purchase of the fol-
lowing items:
1 Trans-Receiver, Mobile @ $410.00
1 Antenna @ 85.00
1 lot Antenna Leads, &c @ 50.00
as stated in their letter of June 8, 1955.
BILLS The following bills were presented and ordered paid
upon motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by Park and
carried.

Upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded by Tadlock and
duly carried, the meeting was adjourned.
