MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA HELD ON MONDAY EVENING,
FEBRUARY 28, 1955, AT 7:35 P. M., AT
THE CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Jerome C. Kidd, W. L. Tadlock, Frank E.
Bacon, Jr., Arthur O. Park and John V.
Sauers.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson was present.
Mayor Kidd called the meeting to order at 7:35 P. M.
Minutes of the previous meeting of February 14th were
read and approved.
Walter Rawlings, representing the Tustin Water Works,
was present and presented a comparative chart of the
rates of his Company with other Orange County Water
Companies serving communities of comparative size. No
action was taken by the Council.
TUSTIN-IRVINE William H. Gray, President, and Lee M. Krell, a Dir-
LITTLE LEAGUE ector, of Tustln-Irvine Little League were present,
GRANTED outlined plans for the 1955 season and requested fin-
$180.00 ancial assistance from the City for maintenance and
FINANCIAL custodianship of the playing field during this 1955
ASSISTANCE summer season. Upon motion of Councilman Bacon, sec-
onded by Councilman Sauers and duly carried, Council
granted $180.00 on the basis of the request as out-
lined by Mr. Gray with the provision that any unused
funds granted by the City for this purpose for the
current 1955 season be returned to the City.
A letter from Orange County Health Department approv-
ing individual sewage systems for Tract No. 1837 was
presented by Mayor Kidd and read to the Council. Also
a letter from the City of Brea thanking the City for
offering to assign its unused balance of $337.76 in
Chapter 47 Funds to the City of Brea.
RESOLUTION Resolution No. 365 entitled "A Resolution of the City
N0. 365 Council of the City of Tustin Accepting $1,044.00 from
ADOPTED the County of Orange as a portion of said County's
"California Highway Users Tax Fund" was presented and
adopted upon motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by
Councilman Park and carried by voice vote.
Councilman Tadlock presented and read specifications
for painting the exterior of the City Hall and Fire
Hall and portions of the interior of City Hall as
outlined by the Council.
BILLS The following bills were presented, examined and or-
dered paid upon motion of Councilman Tadlock, seconded
by Councilman Park and carried.

Councilman Tadlock moved to adjourn. Councilman Park

seconded the motion. Motion carried.
