CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, HELD ON MONDAY EVENING,
DECEMBER 13, 1954, 7:35 P. M.,
AT THE CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Jerome C. Kidd, Frank E. Bacon, Jr., Arthur
O. Park, and W. L. Tadlock.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was absent.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor ttidd at 7:35 P. M.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mayor Kidd presented and read Ordinance No. 90 entitled
"An Ordinance of the City of Tustin, CaIifornia, Accepting
and Approving" Prescott's Annexation to the City of Tustin"
by title only, upon motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded
by Councilman Park and carried by roll call vote.
ORDINANCE Upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman
NO. 90 Bacon and duly carried, Ordinance No. 90 was adopted as
ADOPTED read.
A card of thanks signed by members of the family of Wm.
C. Jerome, recently deceased, was received and read
thanking the Council for flowers sent by the City.
An inquiry of Fred E. Stevens in regard to the required
height from the ground of a sign he proposes to erect
at his Service Station on West First Street was referred
to the State Highway Department.
Mayor Kidd presented and read a letter from George L.
Eilers, Owner of Lush's Honey, protesting the amount of
the License Fee required in payment of Tustin City
Wheel Tax.
Edwin Cox, Lyle Adams and Arnold Posade were present.
Mr. Cox spoke at length in protest of Tustin's Wheel
Tax Fee as related to certain suppliers. Council sug-
gested that he contact other Orange County cities of
comparable size for ideas to be submitted to the Coun-
cil at a later date.
City Engineer McBride and Mr. W. T. Croddy were pre-
sent. Mr. Croddy requested the Council's tentative
approval of the plans of Tract No. 1837. Upon sugges-
tion of Councilman Bacon Council delegated the matter
of tentative approval to City Engineer McBride.
BILLS The following bills were presented, approved and or-
dered paid upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded
by Councilman Bacon and duly carried.

The meeting was adjourned upon motion of Councilman Park,
seconded by Councilman Bacon and carried.
