CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIEORNIA, HELD ON MONDAY EVENING,
NOVEMBER 22, 1954, AT 7:30 P. M., AT
THE CITY HALL
COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Jerome C. Kidd, W. L. Tadlock, Arthur O.
Park, Frank E. Bacon, Jr., and John V.
Sauers.
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
CITY ATTORNEY: C. Arthur Nisson, Jr., was present.
PUBLIC A Public Hearing regarding the petition of John A.
HEARING IN Prescott for annexation of a part of Tract No. 555 t6
RE PRESCOTT the City of Tustin was called to order by Mayor Kidd
ANNEXATION at 7:00 o,clock P. M. who inquired if anyone present
had any objections to the proposed annexation. There
were no objections.
Councilman Park moved that on the basis of no protests
being made Ordinance No. 90 entitled "An Ordinance Of
the City of Tustin, California, Accepting and Approv-
ing Prescott's Annexation to the City of Tustin" be
presented for first reading. Seconded by Councilman
Sauers the motion duly carried.
Upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman
Bacon and duly carried, the first reading of Ordinance
No. 90 was made in its entirety by City Attorney Nisson.
ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 90 was accepted as read for first reading
NO. 90 upon motion of Councilman Bacon, seconded by Councilman
ACCEPTED Park and duly carried.
FOR FIRST
READING A regular meeting of the Tustin City Council was called
to order by Mayor Kidd at 7:30 P. M., immediately fol-
lowing the conclusion of the Public Hearing regarding
the annexation of a part of Tract No. 555.
Minutes of the previous regular meeting of November 8th
were read and approved.
Upon motion of Councilman Park, seconded by Councilman
Sauers and duly carried, the action taken by the Coun-
cil at the preceeding Public Hearing regarding Ordinance
No. 90 was ratified.
Mayor Kidd read a letter of protestsigned by John A.
Prescott protesting any abandonment of F Street and a
Petition signed by John A. Prescott, Alex M. Cardiel
and Albert R. Nieblas requesting that Third Street be-
tween Prospect and F Streets be paved and curbs in-
stalled and that F Street be paved between Third and
Main Streets. This letter and petition were ordered
received and filed upon motion of Councilman Park,
seconded by Councilman Bacon and carried.
Mayor Kidd read a written request of Harold Duff, 160
South "B" Street, for removal of a tree in the City
Parkway in front of the driveway leading to his new
Car Port. Tree to be removed at his own expense. This
request was granted upon motion of Councilman Park,
seconded by Councilman Bacon and duly carried, with
the proviso that Mr. Duff plant an Evergreen Ash nearby
in a spot approved by Park Commissioner Bacon.
The following bills were approved and ordered paid
upon motion of Councilman Tadlock, seconed by Councilman

Sauers and duly carried.

The meeting was adjourned upon motion of Councilman Park,
seconded by Councilman Bacon and duly carried.
