re: Application for Planning Commission
Dear Mr. Mayor,
Please accept this letter as an interested resident of our
city for almost fifteen years, residing at l~ll E. First St.
Tustin, to be considered as a potential member of the Pla~ing
Commission.
I happen to be very proud of being a resident of this
beautiful city, and what we represent as a community in this
great county, state, and country.
For over twenty years I worked in an executive position
for a major Insurance company (The Travelers), and eight years
ago I went into business for myself. A great number of my
clients, friends, and acquaintances are homeowners &/or business
people in the Tustin area. Many of these people have encouraged
me to get involved in local politics.
Your concept of having additional objective input to help
you and your fellow city council members ~kes a lot of sense
to me. Maybe I can be one of those people to help you good
people do an even better Job for the citizens of Tustin.
Attached is a brief resume' which will let you know more
about C. Robert "Bob" ESmau.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
C .~e~ Edman

Dear Council Members:
The purpose of this letter is to submit mY resume and present my
qualifications for your consideration when you select members for
the new Planning Cou~ission.
I was appointed to the previous Tustin Planning Co.--~/sston in 1976, and
was still a member when it was disbanded in 1977. During that time we
worked on The Courtyard, the refurbishment of Larwin Square and Tustin
Square, the Sign Ordinance, the City Maintenance Yard, and many other
smaller projects. I always came to the meetings prepared, having studied
my book and visited the site, so I understood the intensions of the owner
and the recommendations of the staff. I only missed one meeting. My
attendance was good because I liked the work and considered it important.
I offer you past Planning Co~nission experience which could bevaluable
if the new Commission is to properly serve the City Council and the people
of Tustin.
